Is awesome. I went to the museum a few weeks ago and drew some of the taxidermy animals they had on display in the natural history section.

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. Got carried away with Instagram – Heaps easier to update on there so I got slack with updating the blog and the site.

I like to draw while waiting / riding the bus
Last week I was on set doing some behind the scenes stuff for a TV Commercial, there’s some down time waiting for things to start happening like lights and camera’s being set up, hair and makeup for talent. I drew this in between filming.
Last weekend, a couple of good friends and I went away to Omaha / Leigh. We chilled in the sun. Then when night fell, we dressed to the 9’s and became dancing maniacs at the Leigh Sawmill Cafe. What was there? Kitty, Daisy & Lewis! & Heart Attack Alley who were a GREAT opening act. [...]
A while ago Dr. Sketchy was in town. This was a really cool event, for $10 you get a night of life models dressed in theme for you to draw. Here’s a couple of my drawings from the night. The theme of this session was Grindhouse. The girls are dressed pretty appropriately dont you think?
Drawing a big dragon for my friends Tiga & Karo for their new studio at Infinity Web So they have something to put on their wall.
Kinda enjoying painting with a Tablet, so decided to try something a bit more complex.
Sorry guys, been hiding away trying to sort out my life, where I want things to go. And trying to clear away some work before I start fresh. Exciting stuff is on the way though I promise!

Playing around with Typography is refreshing. Might do some more.
Oh and Moleskin diaries are excellent.
So I discovered recently that the Auckland Museum is free for Aucklanders!! WOW. I spent my saturday there drawing some things I thought were interesting looking. Mainly the Buddha statues because I like their hand gestures and calm expressions. I did enjoy the dinosaurs too but thats another story.
