Finished(?) the sketch of girl on a bike. This is what happens when you don’t have a circle drawing tool. You get a spew of colour haha. Re-did her head as well

Did this at ‘Come Draw Pictures’ Last night. Pretty happy with where its going, proportions are a bit out of whack. but pleased with the texture on the clothes. Can’t draw circles and don’t have a compass so I think I’ll do something crazy with the wheels. any thoughts?

Drawing Night Sketch
URGH Sorry for the lack of updates. Been too busy lately to do much. Damn. But ‘Come Draw Pictures’ is a good way to push yourself back into being creative. Score! Here’s a quick sketch I did that night of Nick.

I went along to the 2nd drawing night at Fracture, I tried to sketch the room, everything kept getting moved, haha. Can’t draw faces very well. Need to improve! 9,998 hours to go.

Finished Poster
Finally finished this gig poster! Sore hands from colouring. Decided to go for a watered down desaturated colour scheme. Pink type is kinda crazy out there, but green and brown was getting lost in the background. Hmmm.

Now the long arduous road of colouring begins :-/ Not sure what kind of colour scheme to use yet. Hopefully it will dawn on me soon!
New work underway
So started a new piece tonight.. Hardly draw people, so thought I would give it a crack. So here we are. First sketch, and more to come. I may end up leaving it a pencil drawing, and colouring the background. Would that look weird? Doesn’t in my head. Thoughts?
Solitude
Here’s a new one. No in progress shots unfortunately, it was a bit of a spur of the moment drawing. I can’t stop drawing wood textures at the moment, so you will probably see more trees popping up in drawings to come haha. I might colour this some time. water colour perhaps?
Deliverance
New Drawing! I’m sick of drawing scales. Turned out okay, not sure if it needs more or not. I’ll leave it as is for now. Here is the rough thumbnail sketch I did before hand. I left the crane out. Not sure why but I guess it was kinda random in there.
Ring – Finished Sketch
Just finished this sketch yesterday evening, pretty happy with how it turned out. But now the question of ‘To colour or not to colour?’ has arrived. Thoughts?
